CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) -- 'Creed III' actor Jonathan Majors was arraigned following his recent arrest on assault charges, according to police.

Officials say that Majors, 33, was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman in New York City. The woman told police she was assaulted and Majors was taken into custody.

The woman sustained minor injuries to her head and neck. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Majors was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment.

A representative for Majors denied any wrongdoing by the actor.

"He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up."

Majors is one of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood. Varanasi, March 26: Bhojpuri actor Akanksha Dubey (25) allegedly died by suicide on Sunday. She was found in a hotel room in the Sarnath area, Varanasi.

As per information, the actress was shooting a film in Varanasi. The police have informed her family about the incident and have already sent the body for a post-mortem. However, the police are yet to ascertain whether it’s a case of suicide.

“The prima facie report suggests it might be a case of suicide. But we have to wait for the post-mortem report to be sure of the cause of the death,” said the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Varanasi.

A day before her death, on Saturday, the actor shared a reel on Instagram where she can be seen flaunting her belly dancing skills. The tragic news of her demise came on the day of her music video ‘Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi’s’ release, where she is paired alongside Pawan Singh.
